OMGosh! I know Im going to get slammed by a few women for saying this. I just have to say it after being around my best friend and her husband today and witnessing a quarrel. I didnt have the strength to speak up today so I thought I would voice my opinions here knowing they will read it and likely disown me as a friend:( I witnessed a normal conversation between two people who are love one another go downhill in about 3 minutes. Mind you, Ive never heard them argue in almost five years of knowing them. He basically looked at her while she was speaking and said get to the point, your rambling. Faster than a baseball being thrown at a game her rambling got faster and turned into screaming:( Heres the thing, I understood where he was coming from. I had listened to the same talking for the hour prior and the second he walked in the door she felt the need to greet him with the same story. YIKES! I mean hey...correct me if Im wrong but if your husbands been gone all day why not greet him with a kiss, an avocado sammy heck even a bedroom treat. Why belt out what happened every second of your day? Why not put a smile on his face first and show him how much you missed him. Heck even a long kiss can do this. Maybe Im crossing the line here. Maybe things have changed. Maybe pouring out non stop daily happenings as soon as your man walks through the door is the in thing to do. I personally feel differently. The last time I was in a relationship the only attacking going on when he walked in was the intimate kind. Hey I may not be the authority on relationships but here is my two cents... Men if you want your lady to stop talking non stop LISTEN to her! Ladies if you want your man to listen STOP TALKING NON STOP and throw him a little respect, love and appreciation (they love that smit)!
