ON AIR GRAPHIC DESIGNER #Job Opportunities at MBC Group Responsibilities Translates project details and creative direction into high-level design, animation, and layout solutions. Creates graphics and animations for touchscreens, print and set designs, studio/remote applications (including virtual graphics), and ‘proof of concept’ projects. Utilizes real-time graphics software to create virtual graphics and animations for studio and event productions. Creates efficient 3D models and textures in high-end software. Create and execute 3D and 2D modeling and animation for education based media pieces Design original concepts while following specific style guides Create and effectively present storyboards and/or sketches Ensures that artistic style is consistent with defined visual style for the Media team Create innovative and arresting graphic illustrations to news and other program material from information provided by news and production staff. Coordinate with other graphic designers and production designers in developing & implementing strategies for on-air daily requests and coming up with ideas /concepts that meet their requirements. Displays ability to research and answer technical questions with respect to design/animation techniques or systems in use. Maintains high standards of efficiency, consistency, accuracy, creativity and timely delivery of all requests. Must be highly motivated, work well under pressure, and able to effectively prioritize multiple assignments. Requirements 5 years of hands-on design, graphics, animation, or motion graphics experience in a major TV market or network level. Expertise in real-time software packages (Vizrt, other comparable Real Time 3D Graphics Engine). Passion and desire to create visually appealing imagery.. Extensive 3D Modeling skills Knowledge of 3D file formats and objects conversion tools for multiple renderers Ability to develop and optimize 3D assets for real time render Knowledge of Windows Foundation Platform Typography Advanced hands-on knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe AfterEffects. Online portfolio/demo reel showcasing your creativity, design and type layout skills. Demonstrated 3D animation skills with good understanding of animation principles and theory.
