ON ETSY-- One of my first portraits of Robert F. Kennedy, captured in 1966, A CLEAR VISION https://etsy/listing/41174812/robert-kennedy-a-clear-vision-clyde A CLEAR VISION October 24,1966 Congresswoman Edith Green Election Rally Old Portland, Oregon Labor Temple This generation of Americans has a rendezvous with destiny. RFK quoting Franklin Roosevelt- October 24, 1966, Portland, Oregon August 11, 2011-- Now Included in the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights Photo Collection of 33 original images made by Clyde Keller. This deliberative portrait captures Robert in a head on portrait as he prepares to speak at a plitical rally held inside the old Labor Temple in Portland, Oregon. His clear vision for political reform is brought to the forefront in this dramatic, high key lit scene. Robert was a living embodiment of his slain brother. He represents the resurrection of the promise that he and his brother embodied while in the White House. That restoration, after Dallas, took many forms: Civil Rights at home, Human Rights abroad and the end of Apartheid for all people. His message and charisma and his policies were understood as ending all of the cruel and artificial divisions allowing him to bring a process of healing between people. Please enjoy... and by all means let us hear from you. A CLEAR VISION Copyright © 2012 Clyde Keller
