ON MALLAM NUHU RIBADUs ABANDONMENT OF THE SINKING SHIP OF THE HYPOCRITICAL AMALA/ALMAJIRI PROGRESSIVES CORPORATION (APC) Below is my response to Emmanuel Majebis Facebook post in which he questioned the wisdom of Mallam Nuhu Ribadus ambition to be PDPs Governorship candidate in the upcoming election in Adamawa State: As was the case in Ekiti State and Osun State, the PDP will follow its tradition of open, free and fair Primaries to elect its Gubernatorial Flagbearer in Adamawa State unlike the culture of imposition of candidates by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the APC. Mallam Nuhu Ribadu is a democrat and he knows he will have to contest for the PDP ticket. He is not a fool. He has weighed his chances, consulted widely, and knows that the PDP offers him a better chance to fulfill his aspiration to serve his people and other Nigerians. Even if he does not become the Governor of Adamawa (I personally doubt if he can beat Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa, another wise man who knew to dump the sinking ship of hypocrites which is the APC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu knows that President Goodluck Jonathan will be glad to engage him meaningfully possibly as a Minister or the head of a strategic federal agency. .....AND IN OTHER NEWS Having sought the direction of God and consulted widely with my family, friends, mentors, associates, supporters and other stake-holders in my Assignment in the political sphere, I have come to the decision that the best political platform to pursue my Mandate to serve the good people of Edo Central Senatorial District (Esan Land) as their Senator is the PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY. I am encouraged by the Transformational Agenda of His Excellency, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Ph.D., GCFR, which is on course. Like most of my Friends know, I have been a committed supporter of Mr. President since 2009 when it became clear that the late former President, Alhaji Umaru Musa Yaradua, was incapacitated and unable to fulfill his constitutional duties. As I join the PDP, I am resolved to do my part to the utmost so as to ensure that he returns as our President in 2015 to continue the great work he has been doing as is manifest especially in the areas of agriculture, power sector reforms, road infrastructure, financial inclusion and the rebuilding of our nations structural foundations as has now been articulated in the National Conference Report. The Presidents commitment, sincerity, vision, humility, tolerance, meekness, patience, tenacity, and transparency sufficiently encourage me to want to be part of his team. Consequently, by the Grace of God, I will be in Uromi, Edo State, soon and I will be meeting with the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in my Local Government Area, Esan North-East, and the Chairman of my ward, Ward 1 (Egbele), to conclude the formal process of joining the PDP. God bless you. God bless PDP. God bless Uromi. God bless Esan Land. God bless Nigeria. Esan di fure! Nigeria di fure!! PRAISE GOD!!
