OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IS A FRIEND OF SINNERS, BUT HATE THEIR SINS, - TopicsExpress

OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IS A FRIEND OF SINNERS, BUT HATE THEIR SINS, AND NOT THE FRIEND OF SELF MADE RIGHTEOUS RELIGIOUS PEOPLE(THE PHARISEE, SADUCEES, AND THE SCRIBES) Luke:15:1-2: NOW THE tax collectors and [notorious and especially wicked] sinners were all coming near to [Jesus] to listen to Him. And the Pharisees and the scribes kept muttering {and} indignantly complaining, saying, This man accepts {and} receives {and} welcomes [preeminently wicked] sinners and eats with them. Luke:5:31-32: And Jesus replied to them, It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to arouse {and} invite {and} call the righteous, but the erring ones (those not free from sin) to repentance [to change their minds for the better and heartily to amend their ways, with abhorrence of their past sins]. CHRIST DIDNT CAME TO CONDEMNED, BUT HE CAME TO SAVE THE LOST SOULS. LUKE:19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost. 9:56 {For the Son of Man did not come to destroy mens lives, but to save them [from the penalty of eternal death]. And they journeyed on to another village. JOHN:12:46-47: I have come as a Light into the world, so that whoever believes in Me [whoever cleaves to {and} trusts in {and} relies on Me] may not continue to live in darkness. If anyone hears My teachings and fails to observe them [does not keep them, but disregards them], it is not I who judges him. For I have not come to judge {and} to condemn {and} to pass sentence {and} to inflict penalty on the world, but to save the world. LET THIS MINDSET OF OUR HEAVENLY FATHER BE IN US. FOR THE SON OF GOD AND SON OF MAN ONLY CAME TO SAVE THE LOST SOUL. John:3:16-18: For God so greatly loved {and} dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation {and} be made safe {and} sound through Him. He who believes in Him [who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him] is not judged [he who trusts in Him never comes up for judgment; for him there is no rejection, no condemnation--he incurs no damnation]; but he who does not believe (cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already [he has already been convicted and has already received his sentence] because he has not believed in {and} trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [He is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Christs name.] CHRIST CAME TO GIVE HIS LIFE AS A RANSOM FOR THOSE WHO DOESNT TRUST IN THEIR SELF EFFORTS, BUT NEEDED A SAVIOUR. ISAIAH:53:10-12: Yet it was the will of the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief {and} made Him sick. When You {and} He make His life an offering for sin [and He has risen from the dead, in time to come], He shall see His [spiritual] offspring, He shall prolong His days, and the will {and} pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. He shall see [the fruit] of the travail of His soul and be satisfied; by His knowledge of Himself [which He possesses and imparts to others] shall My [uncompromisingly] righteous One, My Servant, justify many {and} make many righteous (upright and in right standing with God), for He shall bear their iniquities {and} their guilt [with the consequences, says the Lord]. Therefore will I divide Him a portion with the great [kings and rulers], and He shall divide the spoil with the mighty, because He poured out His life unto death, and [He let Himself] be regarded as a criminal {and} be numbered with the transgressors; yet He bore [and took away] the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors (the rebellious). WHEN A SINNER REPENT TOWARD GOD, AND HAVE FAITH IN CHRIST LORD JESUS, THERE IS A GREAT CELEBRATION IN HEAVEN.Luke:15:4-7: What man of you, if he has a hundred sheep and should lose one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness (desert) and go after the one that is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his [own] shoulders, rejoicing. And when he gets home, he summons together [his] friends and [his] neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, because I have found my sheep which was lost. Thus, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one [especially] wicked person who repents (changes his mind, abhorring his errors and misdeeds, and determines to enter upon a better course of life) than over ninety-nine righteous persons who have no need of repentance. FOR THIS VERY PURPOSE, CHRIST DEMONSTRATED HIS LOVE TOWARD HIS SINNERS FRIENDS. JOHN:15:13 No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affection] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends. A GOOD CASE STUDY WAS APOSTLE PAUL, ACCORDING TO 1Tim:1:13-15: Though I formerly blasphemed and persecuted and was shamefully {and} outrageously {and} aggressively insulting [to Him], nevertheless, I obtained mercy because I had acted out of ignorance in unbelief. And the grace (unmerited favor and blessing) of our Lord [actually] flowed out superabundantly {and} beyond measure for me, accompanied by faith and love that are [to be realized] in Christ Jesus. The saying is sure {and} true and worthy of full {and} universal acceptance, that Christ Jesus (the Messiah) came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am foremost. EVERYONE OF US WERE ONCE IN OUR LIFE TIME A SINNER, AND WERE ALL SPIRITUALLY DEAD, HEADING TOWARD HELL, BUT THE GRACE OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST STOOP DOWN AND PICKED US UP. Eph:2:1-5: AND YOU [He made alive], when you were dead (slain) by [your] trespasses and sins In which at one time you walked [habitually]. You were following the course {and} fashion of this world [were under the sway of the tendency of this present age], following the prince of the power of the air. [You were obedient to and under the control of] the [demon] spirit that still constantly works in the sons of disobedience [the careless, the rebellious, and the unbelieving, who go against the purposes of God]. Among these we as well as you once lived {and} conducted ourselves in the passions of our flesh [our behavior governed by our corrupt and sensual nature], obeying the impulses of the flesh and the thoughts of the mind [our cravings dictated by our senses and our dark imaginings]. We were then by nature children of [Gods] wrath {and} heirs of [His] indignation, like the rest of mankind. But God--so rich is He in His mercy! Because of {and} in order to satisfy the great {and} wonderful {and} intense love with which He loved us, Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings {and} trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship {and} in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christs salvation). Titus:3:3-7:For we also were once thoughtless {and} senseless, obstinate {and} disobedient, deluded {and} misled; [we too were once] slaves to all sorts of cravings {and} pleasures, wasting our days in malice and jealousy {and} envy, hateful (hated, detestable) and hating one another. But when the goodness and loving-kindness of God our Savior to man [as man] appeared, He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but because of His own pity {and} mercy, by [the] cleansing [bath] of the new birth (regeneration) and renewing of the Holy Spirit, Which He poured out [so] richly upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. [And He did it in order] that we might be justified by His grace (by His favor, wholly undeserved), [that we might be acknowledged and counted as conformed to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action], and that we might become heirs of eternal life according to [our] hope. NO BODY QUALIFIES BY THEIR SELF EFFORT PERFORMANCE, BUT ITS CHRIST SACRIFICE GRACE THAT QUALIFIES US. Eph:2:8-9: For it is by free grace (Gods unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment {and} made partakers of Christs salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Laws demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.] SO IF IT IS BY GRACE, LET NO ONE STAND IN THE POSITION OF LEADERSHIP IN CONDEMNING THOSE MISSING THE MARKS. IF GOD SHOULD REMOVE HIS MERCY AND GRACE, EVERY ONE ARE GOING DOWN, BUT THANKS BE TO GOD FOR HIS GRACE AND MERCY. Rom:3:23-24: Since all have sinned and are falling short of the honor {and} glory which God bestows {and} receives. [All] are justified {and} made upright {and} in right standing with God, freely {and} gratuitously by His grace (His unmerited favor and mercy), through the redemption which is [provided] in Christ Jesus, LETS BE MERCIFUL, AS OUR HEAVENLY FATHER IS BEING MERCIFUL TOWARD US. Luke:6:36 So be merciful (sympathetic, tender, responsive, and compassionate) even as your Father is [all these]. Rom:5:8 But God shows {and} clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us.
