OUR PM WAS TRULY IMPRESSIVE THIS MORNING.... Like many others, I had many genuine doubts and fears about Narendra Modi; and I was bold enough to say so publicly. This morning, I had the opportunity to listen to our new Prime Minister deliver his first 15th August speech. And I listened to it attentively, with an open mind. And what a speech it was!!! He spoke extempore for nearly 62 minutes (without referring to any notes); and it looked as if he spoke from every pore of his body and soul. AFTER listening to our PM this morning, I am convinced that just as he rose from a poor boy to the Prime Minister of this country, Narendra Modi has the potential to transform India from a developing country into a DEVELOPED nation. Listening to him, it was obvious that Modi has a sincerity of purpose, a holistic vision and a practical road map to achieve this objective. More than anything else, I welcome Modis statement that he cannot develop India on his own, but would require help of EVERYBODY in his mission, and that he would follow the policy of governance by conses with other political parties. Happy Independence Day, to all of you my friends.
