OUTSTAND ING ENFORCEMENT COMMENDATION-OFFICER MARK GEHRON December 14, 2013 at 0010 hrs. numerous county agencies were in pursuit of a vehicle headed towards Lancaster City containing a violent felon. As Lancaster County-Wide Communications updated the location of the pursuit, Officer Mark Gehron responded to the northeast part of the city to intercept the pursuit. Almost immediately upon entering the city, Officer Gehron joined in the pursuit and provided calm, clear, concise radio transmissions to constantly update the location of the suspect vehicle. The pursuit continued for approximately 30 minutes during which time Officer Gehron never lost focus and remained in control of the incident. Officer Gehron’s calm demeanor resulted in a violent felon being apprehended at the end of this pursuit.
