Oatmeal Carmelitas Crust: 2 cups flour, 2 cups oatmeal, 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 1/2 butter (softened) Combine all ingredients and mix together. Press 1/2 of mixture into sprayed 9x13 and bake at 350 for 10 min. Filling: 1 jar carmel ice cream topping, 3 Tbsp. flour, 6 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips, 1/2 cup nuts (optional) Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on first mixture when pulling it out of the oven. Mix Carmel and flour together and drizzle over chocolate chips and nuts. Sprinkle other 1/2 of crust over the top and bake at 350 for 15 to 20 min. For bar cookies place in refrigerator over night.
