Ocean Twp. fire at Posillipo Restaurant closes Route 35 near Deal Road By Brett Bodner | @brettbodner March 26, 2014 Fire at Posillipo Restaurant, formerly Don Chucho, in Ocean Twp. - Staff Photographer/James Connolly OCEAN — Firefighters are continuing to fight a fire at the Posillipo Restaurant, formerly Don Chucho, on Route 35 north. Northbound lanes remain closed in the area at this time, but southbound remains open. It appears as though the building will be a total loss. Wanamassa Fire Department, Oakhurst Fire Department, and the Monmouth County Fire Marshals Office are on scene battling the blaze. We are making calls currently to update this story.
