October 10, 1944, during the battle for our sovereignty against the Japanese conquerors, a great and beautiful hero was born. She was commissioned to help her kin to battle against poverty. She may not have won that war that very time, but she didnt stop. Shes even challenged to add more weight in her cross in 1969. Years have passed, her youth perished, her skin wrinkled, her body gained pounds, but she managed to transcend her beauty even more radiant while carrying a 7 pound heavier cross. Today marked down her 70 years of existence. Shes still carrying the same cross, even heavier than when it was, but she continues to shine even brighter. At times she would complain and even cry on her knees about the cross that shes been carrying all her life. Despite what shes been gone and still going through, she never gave up. Shes really born a hero. At 70, she have accomplished a lot. A lot that i, myself, is overwhelmed on how she was able to make it despite all the challenges. An epitome of patience, perseverance, sacrifice and unconditional love. Ladies and gentlemen, join our family as we hail the greatest hero our family have ever witnessed.
