October 11th is one of those dates that I will never forget, yet I struggle to remember all the details of that morning in 1973 when my mother died in a traffic accident. She was only 32 and now 41 years have passed. I sometimes wonder how differently my life would have turned out if shed left just one minute earlier or later for work that morning. She was truly a remarkable young woman and my brothers and I were blessed to have had for the short time we did. I do take great comfort in knowing that some day I will get to see her again.
