October is Domestic Violence Awareness month and Albrights Criminal Justice Society and Gender Resource Center are teaming up with Albright Lions Football to dedicate this Saturday’s game to victims of domestic violence. We are calling it the “Purple Parade,” and asking everyone to come out and show their support and wear purple. The Lions take on Kings College at Shirk Stadium at 1 p.m. Donations are also being collected for Berks Women in Crisis this week and also at the game. Monetary donations will be accepted, as well gift cards, toiletries, baby formula, paper products, feminine hygiene items, clothing, canned food, over-the-counter medications, and more. items can be dropped off at the Campus Center Desk or Gender Resource Center office.
