Odours, smells, scents or whatever you wish to call them can evoke memories of long ago. I have experienced this many times and today it happened again. I was laying on the bed petting my cat with the glass doors wide open to the breeze. The freshly washed laundry was hanging out on the balcony and the breeze was blowing its scent my way. I was immediately jolted to when I was a kid growing up in the Bahamas. I lived there until I was 17 years old.
