Of the friends Ive narrowed myself down to ..on FB, few are actually interested in anything I post.. Thats an eye opener... Its okay of course and not meant to be a complaint... just an interesting observation and more reason to eventually eliminate more people from my friends list who arent really friends, but just numbers on my friends list... I wonder what the psychology of internet connectivity reveals about this topic.. worth reading up on.. I think. Before looking into the subject of the psychology of the internet... the reason I narrowed down my friends list was because I realized that I didnt want that many people to know what I think or how I feel. I felt it was to my disadvantage, because I tend to be expressive of views that are not held by those who follow herd mentality and created an unnecessary back-lash... as observed by reactions to my posts in the past. And simply because I felt no desire to be open and genuine with people who are not open and genuine with me... So anyway.. those are my reasons... Now it will be fun to read up on the subject and learn what I can about the psychology of the internet user... as it relates to this topic..
