Off to my friends Lou and Tims wedding in Somerset today. Lou has been a huge help with the saddles, and one of my best EE teachers, as well as being a close friend. A wise head on young shoulders, shes been there for me throughout a lot of stress this last few years, despite her own family illness problems, culminating in the sadness of losing her beloved Mum last year, only one year older than me, Lou and Tim have lived together for years, but last year, days before Sandra died, Tim told her that he was asking Lou to marry him. I was so thrilled because it must have given her so much pleasure to know this was to happen. And today it does, in a beautiful country house setting in perfect weather. Lou and Tim, may you enjoy many more happy years together, this day being the start of better things to come.
