The Branch Controller of Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr Monday Olotewo, made this known to the News Agency of Nigeria in Ilorin on Friday. NAN recalled that banks in Offa were shut on Dec. 19, 2013, when armed robbers stormed some banks in the town killing a number of people.
