Office Assistant / Full Time (30 Hours or More) Ameriprise Financial Inc / Bluefield, VA Office Assistant: Maintain a professional office by receiving and distributing communications, Answer Phone, Knowledge of scheduling, filing, Form documentation, serving customers, team player who is attentive to detail, able to handle confidential information, Interpersonal communication and organizational skills are required. No Felony Convictions. Hours of Operation: Monday-Thursday 9:00am-4:30pm. Professional dress is required. Duties: •Forwards information by receiving and distributing communications, collecting and mailing correspondence, copying information. •Maintains supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating requirements, placing orders. •Maintain client papers prior to appointment, set up for appointment. •Maintains office schedule. •Serves customers, answers phone, forwards messages, making and confirming apointments. •Understands the compliance issues within the office and keeping up-to-date with the weekly information provided. •Filling out internal company forms. •Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook. Office Experience, general scheduling skills, telephone skils, typing documentation skills, meeting planning, verbal communication, written communication, dependability, attention to detail, Administrative writing skills, Data base manipulation and data entry.
