Oh Divine Synchronistic Benevolent Universe!! So I mentioned a couple of days ago that I had joined a quadcopter group here on Facebook to learn tips and tricks about flying my new Phantom 2 quadcopter. The forum is run by Eric Cheng, who is the Director of Aerial Imaging at DJI, the makers of my quadcopter. I posted a question and mentioned that I planned to use it to film dolphins and whales. Well... it turns out that Eric is a major dolphin and whale person (he just came back from Mexico to film the Gray Whales) and he asked me to call him. So, of course I did. Get this!!! He wants to provide personal support to me when I am putting together the Phantom 2 and learning to fly it, but thats not all, he said they really need dolphin and whale footage and they very well could provide me with free equipment and even come out to shoot footage with me. He might even come through Orange County when I am there and help me install some extras and teach me how to fly it in person. How fricken cool is THAT??? Hot Diggity Dog!!!! I am always soooo supported by the Universe!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!
