Oh, folks. Yesterday was huge and scary and pretty terrible, and you have all been so fantastic. THANK YOU. I had no idea what to expect when we made that announcement, but this amazing outpouring of love and support- its just been shocking in all of the best ways. Ive been sending out a lot of responses that essentially boil down to, Thank you so much, Im very overwhelmed today, but Ill be in touch soon, and I mean that: were doing EVERY SINGLE THING right now, but if youre local, and youve offered help, Ill probably be in contact pretty soon, because whoa, this is an enormous endeavor. To everyone who has sent in kind words, images of our work, pictures of us together at shows, notes of condolence, silly videos, texted, or called: oh, thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. This week- this month- is brutal, but you are wonderful, and we needed you more than I can ever say. To the people in the yarn & fiber community: thank you for being here. Thank you for just being: this week you are such an amazing reminder of why weve worked so hard to remain a part of this world, and why its so important to me to keep working in this community. There really is nothing quite like this place, and Im honored by the compassion, affection, and love we are being shown. Bless.
