Oh man - I am so over this ISIS thing. OK, I know this is not going to be a feel good post so brace yourself and I hope Im not unfriended too many times because Im feeling a bit fragile. BUT - Im sick to death of the reports and the questions begging the question, why do young Aussies feel the need to go to Syria to fight for ISIS??!! Geez Louise! Young Aussies??!! What!!!? Are we supposed to picture an ockeresque figure jumping the back fence from his Bar B Q with zinc cream across his nose, wearing the Australian cricket team shirt and suddenly going all jihad!? These are people, often born here who have NEVER INTEGRATED. A crow born in a stable isnt a horse. It takes more than a birth certificate to make you feel like an Australian. Is it too much to ask to say, hey youre welcome in my home but please wipe your feet at the door. All these goody two shoes bleeding heart morons who think diversity is wonderful should remember its root word - its divide and without strong laws and consequences for breaking them, the diversity that should give range to our future ends up like an octopus on roller skates - OK end of dummy spit. Id live longer if I could detach but I cant because the thing I love most about this place is its potential and when we dont pull together we lose potential. Somebody post a kitten video please!
