Oh what a long week!! Today we got a small smile from mom. They were not able to take her off the vent today so we will try again tomorrow. Her body is getting stronger. They had to resedate her this afternoon because she was getting herself worked up being awake with the vent. However while she was awake she was very aware who was there. She kept holding my hand. I told her I was going to go get a cup of coffee and she kept shaking her head no. Lol Thanks again for continued prayer...you, Joe, my kids are my strength and sanity through all of this.
