Ok, Facebook friends, this is IMPORTANT. In the space of just a few minutes, I found two posts in my news feed that were questionable. One was a report of a missing person and they were asking for the photo to be shared. I would like to help by sharing in such a situation, but something made me check it out. I searched the Internet, the appropriate police website and the appropriate missing person website. I cant verify the story so cant share the post. The second was a photo of a nativity scene which the original poster is claiming Facebook is trying to get rid of. I did a very quick search and found this reported on a reliable hoax reporting site as being not true, and its been around at least since 2012. I went to the original posters FB page and found over 730 THOUSAND direct shares. Theres no telling how many of those shared it, and so on and so on. Please take a critical eye to these posts before sharing. If they are real, a google search will usually confirm in SECONDS. Im not going to tell you to share this status because I dont believe in that (in case you ever wonder why I dont share yours), but if you want to, feel free.
