Ok Facebookers , I have a problem concerning the Affordable Care Act or as most call it Obama Care . Now my issue is people are giving our President a hard time about insurance companies canceling their insurance policies and price rates going up . That is not on our president , that is on the big insurance companies because they dont want to cover all that the Affordable Care Act is covering . So instead of adding the things to their insurance policies that Obama Care has in their policies they are dropping people from their insurance . Now our president said that if you already have insurance and if you desire to keep the insurance that you have , then you should be able to keep it . YOU should be asking your insurance company WHY are YOU DROPPING ME FROM YOUR PLAN ? But the big insurance companies rather to put money into existing policies to bring them to where our presidents Affordable Care is , they choose to cancel policies . And that is not on our President . That is on the big insurance companies not wanting to cover pre- existing illness . Why do you think that if you already have an illness , insurance companies wont give you insurance ? The big insurance companies knows it will cost their company more to cover you . To calculate hospital cost , doctor visits and time off work thats a lot of money that these insurance companies will have to pay out . So rather to lose money on YOU they chose to cancel your insurance . If a lot of you people around here think back to all the storms that came through here a couple of years ago Alpha dropped a lot of their clients for filling claims and a lot of you it was the first time filling a claim with them . Then for a while they wouldnt accept new clients because they had filed a claim during that time , I know because I was one of the people they rejected . Then they told me that it would be five years before I could get insurance with them and the insurance was outrageously high . My point to this is it is the same way with the health insurance . So instead of blaming our PRESIDENT blame The BIG INSURANCE COMPANIES for the higher insurance RATES and them dropping you from their insurance . Now that I have vented Im good to go .
