Ok Giants fans...... Peering around the corner, sneaking a peek at the 2015 1-5 taking the Hill, what do you envision?? I see Mad-Bum and Matt Cain as a phenom #1-2 atop that list....Matt Cain is s true grit baller with pitching wisdom far beyond his years, and my confidence in his success is more than sound. Beyond this, I feel Yasmiro Petit is the lead candidate for the 3 spot and has shown more than promise as to molding into a premier Starting Pitcher. All the talk Ive heard on this subject, it seems hes overlooked somehow. I think thats a pretty darn solid 3. Tim Hudson and Jake Peavy perhaps can combine for a darn good 5 spot, neither at their age, as good as their mechanics are, durable enough for a 162 game season at 100%, unless they happen to stumble upon the FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH this off-season on a trophy Whitetail hunt, or discover a CACOON some wheres taking a refreshing dip with Peavys Good Ole Grand Pappy......., able to fill that role alone. So brings the question.....its apparent from a financial and managerial standpoint, as much as we as fans and the Organization love and cherish him, that bringing Vogey back at his age isnt exactly the logical route, and also beloved, Timmy, talented as he still is, has shown little desire to embrace the fact he is no longer that wicked lights out ace, and complete the transition to MECHANICAL WIZARDRY. So now that the Free-Agent list is out there floating, and wherevour farm system is at the current, what as an organization should we strive to achieve????
