Ok HENDERSON, EVANSVILLE and CHARLOTTE Peeps! As you may have seen in an earlier post, we found a Jack Russell wandering in our neighbor starving and skin tore up from roaming the woods. I am in Kentucky now and headed to Charlotte in a couple weeks. This little guy we call Charlie tagged along for the ride. I am hoping that someone out there is looking to add a special little friend to their family. Here is a little info about Charlie. He is eating great, doesnt mind baths and his skin is healing now. He is potty trained. He will follow you all around the house, I think he is still a bit scared from being alone. He very much wants to lay on the sofa with you and prefers to lean up against you or put his head on your lap. He walks on a leash really well, does not pull or walk ahead of you. Im sure he barks but hasnt shown too much of it yet. My two rug rats will tear a door down after the UPS guy and Charlie just stands there looking out like whats the big deal. For a Jack Russell he is extremely calm almost timid but very, very lovey, not an ounce of aggression what-so-ever. He needs a family, whether one with kids, cats or other dogs (nice ones), that can give him tons of love and reassurance. He is pretty good in the car. It took him a little while to stop whimpering, but Im not sure that could be from maybe being dumped via car and thinks I was going to do the same. He has blended wonderfully into our family but since we are military and always having the possibility of moving overseas I just do not want to worry about how to move 3 dogs down the road. It wouldnt be fair to him. He really deserves a more stable forever home. For a rescue dog, you really could not ask for a better little guy. If you are interested, please message me.
