Ok, I admit it. Im a dreamer. But Im not the only one. I had that same recurring dream. The one where Im flying and being chased by Ernest Borgnine in drag. He was gaining on me cuz I had to fly out of Dayton, which wasnt at all convenient. But I was on my own. Not flying under some presumptuous pilots idea of where I should go. I was flying by the seat of MY pants; flying under my own... recognizance. Only thing, Ernest Borgnine was a Navy man. IN THE NAVY he used to burst into song with gusto & pride. Be Bursting with pride! When thanked for his service, Ernie used to say Shucks, I cant do it alone. It takes a village & hed produce glossies of his Navy pals, from all walks of life: Indian chief, & fighting right by his side-- a cowboy, construction worker, The Man-- holding down the fort-- POlice man. And last & least, pulling up the rear, there was me--the Village Idiot, barely beating out Ensign Parker for the honor. But enough about me; back to my dream. Ernest was closing in. I could feel his hot breath on the back of my neck. And suddenly, he was on me. Was a real drag!!! But before I could hit him with my query whats with the outfit? (Definitely not a regulation Navy outfit, especially the cowboy & the guy double-dipping, doing construction)... I found myself in my underpants, in front of the whole class!!! No longer flying high, but unceremoniously grounded. Yet there I was, out-- breaking the rules, exposed right then & there, no class distinction!! I was being tested and I hadnt studied a lick! I awoke with a start & didnt get to finish. I was trembling, in a cold sweat or maybe a hoodie, looking for answers. I checked with my dream analyst, but he answers all my calls with one of those really loud air horns. Is this a common dream? Or is it just me? Please advise.
