Ok, I have a new mission....while on the east coast of FL we went to the Ft. Lauderdale Museum of Science and Discovery...many exhibits about habitat, environment, animals, ecosystems, conservation, etc......When you first walk in, one of the first things you see is a sea turtle, about 2-1/2 to 3 feet maybe across. They have this sea turtle in a cement tank about 5 x 5 x 5 feet with NOTHING...no grass, no cover, just white cement walls and 2 portals for the kids to peer in. Im PISSED. I filed an official written complaint while there and am going to follow up. Its just not right when this beautiful creature is supposed to be in the wide-open sea. With them teaching kids and all this is unacceptable. If you feel inclined, please feel free to follow this link to their contact page and voice your opinion.
