Ok I have said it before and I will say it again...... IT IS A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL!!! I was in a local thrift store searching the book section as I often do for hard to find books by C S Lewis or Tozier. These are books Ben loves to read so I often look for them in my spare time. While scanning the rows and rows of books an older gentleman comes up and ask me what I liked to read. I told him about Ben, Rachael and Africa. He instantly begin to run his fingers across the books like they were old acquaintances and comment this is a great book written by a great man of God and so on. Just watching him I knew he had deep character and undoubtably had great knowledge of books.....Turns out He was a publisher and had published thousands of Christian books. He informed me that he had over 18,000 books and would be happy to share with Ben and Rachael. His wife later joined the conversation and it ended with an invitation to take a walk with them and visit. During the above conversation I had told him my great passion for photography...... He turns to me as he is leaving and smiles and said.... Oh about the photography, I might can help you there too! You see I was an on ground photographer and war correspondent for a major magazine during the Korean War!!!!!! Wow!!!!! How awesome is that...God once again put this country girl at the right place at the right time..... Moral of the story is NEVER underestimate. OUR God!!! He can arrange to bring wonderful people in your life even in a thrift store!
