Ok. I know Im dangerously close to vague booking here, which I hate, so Ill fill you in. Ill try to keep it short. Yesterday morning we got a call that Alex had passed out in the hallway at school. The Fairmont nurse called an ambulance and her quick action surely saved his life. It was discovered that Alex has had a tumor growing on his liver which ruptured causing him to have massive abdominal bleeding. They did emergency surgery, stopped the bleeding got him stabilized and removed the tumor. He likely has a long road of recovery and possible treatment ahead. We wont know the nature of the tumor for a few days but Id appreciate all the benign ju ju you can muster. Hes feeling much better today and has his breathing tube out. Hes on a lot of pain medication but even still has been asking for chocolate milk. Hes gonna be just fine.
