Ok I need to vent... Theres a girl (late twenties) in my town who for one reason or another always seems to have a new puppy. How she gets them I will never know. Anyways, she always uses prongs and alpha technique and 9/10 of her dogs are fear aggressive. So here I was, walking back from the store and I see her. Walking with a baby stroller and a new pup. 4 or 5 months old. Hound or great dane type. Hard to tell. So a lady walks up Oh cute puppy! So sweet! And the pup backs up and barks, clearly terrified. Then I see it... The prong. No wonder she is scared!! Poor baby! They force the pup to sit and at that point I had to turn around. I was sick. Has this ever happened to you? What can you do? This girl is not one to accept any sort of advice or criticism especially since she considers herself a dog expert since she has had so many. It breaks my heart and I find myself angered by it and very sad. I think about it for days after.. Sorry for the long post, I just know there are like minded individuals here :) thanks for reading.
