Ok, Im re-posting what I wrote very early in the morning on July 19, which Mr. Ilarionov has also said (we dont know each other and Im not on anyones payroll). Most of these questions havent really been answered despite a lot of hot air about the ease of pressing a button to shoot down a plane: I will put my neck out here and if someone doesnt like this, sue me. The Buk SAM system, from everything Ive read and heard, is a very complex, sophisticated system that includes several vehicles and requires an entire team to operate. Igor Strelkov Girkin, the Russian leader of the terrorist grouping in the Donbas region, is a profesional military officer, but not trained to operate the Buk in any way. The Buk team was a professional unit that came from Russia and had an assignment: to knock a high-altitude aircraft out of the sky. Girkin may have been a stooge in this case, gloating that they had shot a Ukrainian Air Force plane out of the sky, only to find out after 10 minutes that it was a commercial passenger plane, after which the cover-up began. Now, Id like to know how a plane flying 1,000 kph at 10,000 m altitude could be shot by accident by a team of trained professionals, especially since the system being used has a recognition system for friend or foe. Are we all to believe that a professional team on this sophisticated system somehow missed a smaller, lower-flying military plane and hit a commercial liner instead? I dont think so. This was planned and carried out as planned. The Buk and its operators have disappeared to where they came from and where they cant provide any evidence to any investigation of the crash, the Buk to possibly be disassembled and the men...who knows. The so-called separatists (mercenary terrorists) are thus the bad guys, the ones whom Putin says he cant control, as he has already said on a couple of occasions (remember the referendum in May?), and blames Ukraine for not controling. Therefore Ukraine needs a peacekeeping contingent to bring the situation under control. What happens next?
