Unfortunately, the majority of the Court did not require the unelected, unaccountable EPA bureaucracy to conduct serious analysis of the costs to people vs. the perceived benefits of their ambiguous and enormous regulations.There are available technologies and methods to eliminate sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxide and mercury from coal-fired power plants. However, EPAs devastating regulations and limits on odorless, colorless CO2 will result in harmful electricity cost increases and job losses as coal is diminished as an affordable, reliable source of electricity, along with natural gas, nuclear and hydro.
