Ok Northern New York State lets show the rest of the country that we are human beings with hearts and brains. We have some closed prisons. We have some unemployed people. The federal goverment is looking to house illegal immigrants in hotels as far north as Rochester according to the news tonight. I know that will not sit well with my conservative friends. So I propose that we use our closed prison facilites to house these people. These children and women are so dangerous, to my conservative friends, not to me. Just think, we might just be able to gain some economic benifit from this awful situation. Some jobs, they will have to eat. Food, supplies. All kinds of opportunity. Just when all doom and gloom was on the horizon opportunity is there. We lost the VA in Tupper Lake but the State of NY was there to save us. This is a real opportunity. The people of the North Country have never been people to look down upon the unfortunate. This is no time to start. You know how to contact you Congressmen, your Senators, your Assembley Woman and your Governor? You may be fine but I am sure that you may know someone that could benfit from a job. Spare the few minutes it would take to make the call or send an e-mail and get behind this. Do you have a better idea to use these facilites that you have paid for and are sitting there?
