Welcome to what i hope will be the first of many conversations like this.....The porpuse and objective of this is simple.-To explore ways that will lead to a country government that is clean,responsive,and competent...a government that reflects our values and beliefs President Noy! Arent you comfortable with a lot of new technology?,,,,,,but intuitively recognized the possibilities of the most sinister,Orwellian gadgets available to the otherwise Stone Age police force of ur beloved country?,,,,Ok,ill go on in a soothing tone,using every term of endearment i can think of. Now sweetheart,darlin,that things gonna go off,baby,and u aint done nothin,sugar......wow!.....Maybe ur truly frightened,but oddly wasnt enjoying this reversal of roles in ur govt.?or thought ur order of priorities was interesting;control and contain the situation so as to protect urself,ur image,ur job....as though this were some new revelation to me..u are always mouthing idiotic cliches and aphorisms as if uve just made them up,and it never occurred to you,that these were not original insights into the human mind...You know,President Noy,i break my ass to give you things some people in this country aint got..Now,,,what do u want me to do?Retire,hang around the house,pinch pussies,and help u with ur chores all day?and never ever call me at work unless somebodys dyin My golly.........This image will work if u are a disembodied ideal.Ur worst nightmare would be to discover that in person i was not the RLP,created out of short and infrequent messages, and long ago memories....Promise urself to find the means and the courage to see me,to speak to me,and to see how much of me was fantasy and how much of me was real.....My GOD!!!!Pinoksiw....Explore the farmlands that what had once been a substantial farm,notice the debris of a past way of life...these all remained unrecycled uncollected,unwanted,contributing to the rural blight!Dont think u ought to wait until u got urself mentally settled,until u understood ur mood and ur motivations more clearly...The difference now was not in the economics,it was in the will of the farmers to hang in there despite the bad odds..the ones who had stayed,look aimless and unmotivated,unwilling to do farm work and unfit to do skilled labor....As we reflected on all this,did it struck u that perhaps the whole nation is out of balance,THAT IF U GOT ON THE WRONG TRAIN,NONE OF THE STOPS DOWN THE LINE COULD BE THE ONE U WANTED.....Do u think u might experience some sort of survivorss guilt,standing among ur old classmates,but hadnt experience that at the Wall in Malacanang,and didnt experience it now..and what u feel supposedly,was an unresolved anger at the waste....On a personal level,maybe u had this thought,which had occurred with more frequency in the last few weeks:that despite all ur success and accomplishments,ur life would have been BETTER if being our president hadnt happened....In a few weeks,when ur settled in,Pls.make a note of that my friend.....You knew without admitting it to urself that u didnt have a chance with these people..u knew,too,or rather had a dim awareness,that even if u scored one,theyd reject u after the filipino people got to know u better...I knew all of this without acknowledging any of it to myself...my ego is intact....my predatory senses are always alert...a wolf who knew what prey was weak and vulnerable and whats dangerous...Mr.President, its time to get smart like the GEESE.....Filipino ideas and culture formed,took hold,flourished and nourished a nation,,,but now i think,the roots were dying,some never noticed becoz the tree still looked so stately....ahaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy yahyahyayayyyyyyyy!!!!This is what can kill a country,,,becoz of a lack of vision,as well as a profound break with,and misunderstanding of,the past....Every Filipino hungers to see the country were its PAST and its PRESENT are ONE,,,and the future built carefully on the existing foundations of time.......SEE MY BOY!!! Do u read me over and out????STAY becoz u wanted to see the changes evolve...rather than experiencing them in a six-year gulps...ud be less nostalgic and not startled by the transformation....You arrived in our lives at a time not of ur own choosing,,U stayed for a time,,also not of ur own choosing,and finally,the only choice u will have then,was to leave early,but not one moment later than the time u were allotted...Between ur arrival and ur departure,however,you have some real choices,and choices comes in four varieties-----good and bad,hard and easy....The good ones are usually the hard ones....No,not literally,but start to paint a picture of the future that looks like the past,with brighter colors....sort of like a Currier & Ives lithograph thats been cleaned up....NAUUNAWAAN PO ba NINYO mahal na PRESIDENTE???? Lets have a background static brought to mind....the organizational chart of the intelligence community.....This organizational chart,had these neat labelled boxes and rectangles,all somehow connected by tortuous lines that never crossed and resembled an electronic schematic for a nuclear subject.....Unlike an electronic schematic,however,which have to obey the laws of science to work,,the intelligence community chart,obeyed no known laws of science,god or nature,only the laws of man...which were subject to executive whimsy and congressional debate....do u got the the picture now Mr.President??? The center of power,in any time or place,was by definition a haven for lunatics and lunatic behavior-----gusto mo ng halimbawa???? The Kremlins,a Byzantine palace,The forbidden city,a Roman Emperors villa,The Fuhrerbunker.......it didnt matter what it was called or what it looked like from the outside,,,inside was airless and dark,,,,a breeding ground for progressive madness and dangerous flights from reality.....next time again Mr.President....Our journey has not ended,,,,just about to get interesting......Hurry!!!!!!!! CATCH THE LIGHT OF THE SETTING SUN!!!! RLP?..
