Ok. Ray Rice. You have people talking about killing him, beating him, firing him, hoping he goes through horrible shit. I havent seen one person say anything like I hope he changes. Man, that guy needs help. I hope he goes through therapy and changes for better. I hope one day he can look at that woman, and the world and apologize and we believe him. It amazes me how many peoples first reaction is straight up lightening and fury. Vengeance. Eye for an eye. Mike Vick is an example that people can change. Malcolm X changed.. Larry Lawton. Danny Trejo. There are a lot of people who do things in life NOT to hurt or cause people harm. Sometimes they dont know any better or know anything else. Similarly, you most likely dont know WHY they are how they are. What these people need to do is be taught, not crushed under the full might of peoples ignorance or some twisted, barbaric version of what they deem justice. I hope next year, or some time, Ray Rice is a success story. I hope he can go into the lives of others and influence them. Firing him, making him work elsewhere, calling him a piece of shit, whatever, thats not going to change him. It will make him more careful next time and look for cameras and witnesses. Some people disappoint me.
