Ok. So I rarely vent in Facebook but this one is really upsetting me. My sons school has decided its no longer necessary to teach cursive handwriting. Why? No clue. How can they read it or even sign their names in the future?! So today Connor comes home with homework in spelling. He has the list to choose from to complete each question. The list he has to choose from, IS IN CURSIVE!!!! Seriously?! What gives?! This is in no way against teachers or anyone specific but really?! So now I either read each word to him or he has to go to another page and find them in printing. Wow. And its not necessary to teach this basic thing in life! Ugh. Rant. Over.
