Ok. So a couple of people are outraged at the kim k paper mag photo because of the originals.... shot by jean paul goude....theres a racist historical connection to saartjie baartman.....a 18/19th century black woman who was put on display because of her abnormalities (curves etc ) as a freak show in London and paris. Not to write too long of a status...but i honestly feel like people are starting to marginalize the humiliating display of black women down to the photos jean took in the 70s/80s not realizing, we mostly embrace the tasteless exhibition of black womens bodies on our own...where does that convo begin? With goude because hes white? Why not maybe nicki minaj? or Rihanna i dont know maybe im on to something here, and maybe im not....
