Ok. So tonight my 17 year old cousin made the comment when I have kids theyll be cute im gonna have them by a light skin, white woman or Puerto rican this comment offended me, sadened me, & pissed me the hell off all in the same token. So I asked is thst the only way youd be able to have attractive kids? Are dark skin women not equally as pretty? His response was some not all by that time my blood was boiling. I couldnt believe he felt that was okay to say on front of my mother and I, two black women. It pissed me off that he belives he can only have cute kids if theyre light or mixed & it hurt me even more that he saw absolutely nothing wrong with this philosphy. I wnated to completely go off amd then I realized his thought process is too far gone and by this point my voiced inhibitions would be empty nothings. In one ear & out the other.
