Ok, everyone who knows me knows that I am a die hard Yankee fan - TopicsExpress

Ok, everyone who knows me knows that I am a die hard Yankee fan and have been all my life win or lose thru think and thin. Also, everyone knows about the steriod deal in MLB at present. My younger bro calls me last nite to dig at me b/c I am a Yankee fan and A-Rod is a Yankee. As everyone knows including me, he is guilty as is about 12 others who were associated with that particular clinic. My feeling is that whatever punishment is meted out to A-Rod all the others should suffer the same b/c they all knew what they were doing and chose to go the wrong way. Now, he contends that Alex was the worst offender and that he took other players to that clinic. Does that mean Alex is responsible for their participation? I say each person is responsible for the decisions they make and I really doubt that Alex held a gun to their heads and made them do steroids! Think about this, if u & I each shot and killed a man but I used 4 bullets and u only used 2, should my punishment be worse than yours? Also, I do not believe that Braun should have been able to negoitate his punishment b/c he came forward and admitted his part. He only did so after he knew they had the goods on him after having lied about it last year and part of this year. That brings us to Pete Rose--he bet on baseball, lied repeatedly about it until he was caught. He goes to prison and is banned from baseball for life. Rose has said that if he were to give A-Rod advice (which he has not). he would have told him to tell the truth, take his punishment, and move on. This is my opinion which I believe that I am entitled to. Enough said!
