Ok, folks.. Here I go again.. Rant time!! I hear that since some friends have seen a picture of my grandaughter and Donald in a pool while I was at a convention, that apparently I am using taxpayer money to take my family on holidays.. My only grandchild, luckily for me.. spends her summers here in Maynooth. I was at a convention,, in fact I spent my own money to go a day early to have some rest and time with her as I felt almost guilty this summer being so busy with Council and election. I paid for my room.. During the convention, the County paid for the room.. my granddaughter and husband were not covered by the County.. also, I received $100 per day for my own costs while away from home, and it was up to me what and where I ate or did, as that was what they paid. I worked up to 15 hrs a day at the Convention..from 7 am networking breakfasts.. seminars, and the mandatory Government, County and Company rooms in the evening for networking. I made full use of the time I was there. I DO NOT use taxpayers money for personal use..and I guess, perhaps it is time that I close my Facebook page and disappear.. as much as I enjoy keeping track of my family and my friends, obviously either I have some friends who are not really what they seem to be or someone is snooping through other friends pages. I really do not need to be attacked for things I have not done.. I work too darn hard at what I do.. what I need from friends and family at this time is SUPPORT, as other folks believe they can get elected through lies and improper innuendo. I am proud of my record.. I ask for support in the election.. and I never did think that sharing with my family and friends would be ever used against me.. will have to think hard about staying on here.. HURTING.. Vivian
