Ok friends, here it goes: the meeting was awesome. I was slightly nervous at first but as I questioned lawmakers and rebutted with my homework info- I settled into it. A couple of them were taking notes as I gave them info they didnt have! Granted, some of them you have to take with a grain of salt BUT- I was complimented and told that the meeting was something they hadnt expected and that they had learned something . It was said in a positive manner by a delegate with differing views. Long story short- Im officially addicted to politics and I cant wait for my next round of meetings! Now Im going to go throw up.
