Ok guys, Ill post the new winner in just a few minutes but I wanted to touch on something else first. I try not to post these but we are moving into the holiday season and it seems to really bring out the worst in people. We have been stating repeatedly that we have had some delays in orders due to a huge delay in restocking our shirts. I have been working my rear end off, every chance I get to get things caught back up to where they should be but a 3+ week delay takes more than a week or 2 to get caught back up when you have the large number of orders we do. Im posting sneak peeks and photos as often as I can so you can see work is being done. Kristen has been answering emails about where orders are in the line up to keep you guys informed. Every day I WISH I had a magic wand to wave that would take care of it but a 3+ week delay is massive for a small business with 1 person doing all the physical work. We greatly appreciate every single one of you who has been patient and understanding. We will always be grateful for your kind works, encouragement and continued support. But for those who are being rude, nasty, and just plain mean.....STOP. JUST STOP. Stop for one minute and think about who your interacting with. Kristen and I, we are wives. We are Mothers. We are individuals. We ARE a SMALL business. We are NOT Walmart, Target, Childrens Place, Old Navy, Gap or any other large retailer who buys china made stuff you can get quickly. We do not have a factory with dozens of workers processing items every day. Every item that comes from us is custom made by me with care, it is done with a process to make sure it lasts and doesnt fall apart after the first wash. When you order a custom item from me thats exactly what your getting, not a china made knock off. Im sure Ill turn some people off by this post but I feel it has to be said. I am absolutely appalled by some of the things people say, the bullies they become when hiding behind a computer screen or email. And its not just towards us, I hear from many of the small business owners I know that they deal with it too. I can only shake my head and hope that these same people would not behave so badly if we were face to face. So going forward, just stop and remember, small businesses like us are people too. Be polite and respectful even if your frustrated or dont understand why something is the way it is. Questions are always welcome but accusations and assumptions are not. Being polite and respectful with a small business will almost always result in them going above and beyond for you. Because unlike those big box store retailers who only care about selling as much product as they can, we care about our customers. We care about your experience with our product and in times like ours where a delay has occurred we want you to think it was well worth the wait. Again, thank you to every one of our customers who has been so kind, patient, and understanding. We will always be grateful for you.
