Ok guys a latest update. I again got through the number 09711111996 and spoke to him for full 4 minutes. I sincerely request everyone to read this properly and then ask questions. I am only an individual sitting in Pune and trying to gather as much relevant information as possible. The water level is constant and is about 10 feet. Almost all the areas are now free of danger mark, the only difference is that at some places the water level is receding slowly where as at some places it is coming down fast. some of the people have been evacuated have been shifted to some hotels and government institutions near Tattoo ground that are not under water. Area wise update - lal chowk, Jawahar nagar, Indira nagar, shivpora, rajbagh, badami bagh gogji bagh, wazirbagh, batmaloo, karan nagar, exchange road dar mohalla,bemina, radio colony - evacuation and rescue process has started and is going on in full swing. goni khon ld area, HMT, iqbal park, habba kadal, Qamarwari - The official has no updates from these areas. But that is not because there is no rescue going on but because since the tele communcation network is very bad, they dont have any latest updates. The whole rescue and evacuation process may take another day or two to ensure everyone has been evacuated. The official list of people evacuated will be available only after the process is done because of course the main priority right now is to evacuate everyone. The good news is that there are no causalities, the water is not rising and there are no rains. So lets hope for the better. I dont think at this point, any other source will be able to give us more information. Only if anyone gets in touch with their family or friends who were stuck in specific areas , please update and let everyone know. God bless us all. Thanks. stay positive and have faith.
