Ok here is the deal. We went to see the surgeon today, he did a lot of x rays and at 1st I didnt know if he was taking me serious. He got the x rays back and came in and wanted more done, while walking out of the room said you have a really bad back. I did the x rays he had us come out so he could show us the results. I have major damage to my thoracic spine, I think his words were severe damage. The only surgery for me would be a very big operation, like a 9 or 10 stage fusion. So we set are goal for 3 months of PT and drop 30 pounds so if I need to go the route of surgery I will survive it! I knew that I had problems because of the pain but didnt know the magnitude. I am a survivor, and will beat this! I know there will be a lot of pain, tears, and thoughts of giving up but I wont let it happen. There is a benefit being set up to help Liz and I with my medical bills and so on. I will post the time and place as soon as we know. I just ask for all your support, and prayers as this is the toughest thing I have ever had to deal with. We all look a people in wheel chairs and say, that will never be me, well when it happens and could be you then life becomes very real! I thank you all for your support, we have a very long painful road a head of us.
