Ok, here is the rest of the story, its true that the C Diff bacteria is not in my body at tis time. Which is great because it is not doing anymore damage to my body! I will be on meds for Im not sure how long but for awhile. But because of the damage it did to my body there is lots of healing that needs to happen. Its still painful, Im still nauseated which I have meds for, and I still have good and bad days but my days are better more than not. I have to get my strength up because I was pretty much useless for 10 months. Now, this is the hard part, the meds Im on cost more than $6,000.00 a pop but I have been able to pay just $200.00 because my wonderful doc at Vandy has gotten me samples so far! Ive once again been blessed! My sister and I go back to Vandy on Tues to get my refills(they cannot mail them to me) so we will make a fun day out of it! But my doc at Vandy is expecting the C Diff to return as it does often to many people so that is why my donor still needs to be tested so when the bacteria returns she wanted the donor in place and already tested so we could go ahead with the fecal transplant. I have read that some patients have had it done twice because the first one didnt take but the second one did. And of course there is that possibility that it wont work at all. There is a higher chance that it wont work on me due to something that my body has no control with. Dont ask me what it is cause I wont tell you and you really dont want to know. Now after saying all of this, I believe that God can do anything at anytime and one proof of that is when my Daddy some 20 plus years ago had bladder cancer and the doc said this type of cancer always has come back. Well my daddy is still living at the age of 90 so after a few years of checkups and the cancer didnt return, his doc finally said, dont come back, it looks like I will die before you. And even if I didnt have that example, my faith in The Lord is as strong as it gets and if this bacteria returns then I know without any doubts that He can make good things happen out of bad. And He may choose for the C Diff not to return, ever. And Im ok with whatever comes my way because I will always have The Lord at my side. But just to let yall feel better, I do sin, sometimes I worry, sometimes I get frustated, and sometimes I get weary, and there is lots of stuff going on with mine and Parks family and friends that we have to deal with just like you! Im just saying Ive got God and Gods got this! Please just keep the prayers coming! : )
