Ok here we go... another one of my, Chef Olivios fantastic recipes.. Garlic Shrimp Okay this one is one of Bella Margaritas favorites. She is of Italian and Spanish heritage, so she likes garlic, a lot! Hehe This recipe can be served as a Spanish Tapas with some very delicious hot bread, or over rice as a main dish. Tapas are appetizers in Spain. :) Whata you need: Avocado or Grapeseed Oil-Virgilios sells both of these. Enough for sauteeing. 5 Tablespoons of each: Virgilios Chipotle and Garlic EVOO--now we a gotta tell you, we a watch Bella Margarita and she uses a lot more than that. LOL 1 pound of raw shrimp, cleaned and deveined. Red Pepper Flakes or fresh dried chilis 5 Garlic cloves minced. Bella also uses more than this. She loves the garlic. 1-2 Tablespoons of Paprika. Virgilios sells a Spanish Paprika, delizioso! Salt and Pepper to taste. Whatcha you need to do: Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the Chipotle and Garlic EVOO after it is heated. Not hot, hot, just heated. Add the garlic and red pepper and saute over medium heat. Do not burn the garlic or you will have to start all over again. Add the shrimp and more Chipotle and Garlic EVOO if you would like. Add the paprika. We lovea the rich color. Cook until the shrimp are done. Then serve in a shallow serving dish. Serve with warm bread. As we mentioned earlier, you can also serve over rice. Enjoy. Mangia Bene! Olivio Olive
