Ok, its Christine Barritt hacking Badgers Facebook page again! I wanted to share the week weve had so far. First of all, hes all settled in at his temporary home in Marin! We are both so happy with this facility! He has had PT everyday except Sunday, and boy do they challenge him! They put him in a wheelchair everyday which he loves. Today, I was able to take him outside and let him breathe fresh air and get a little vitamin D on his skin! I feel so lucky to be there with him to see him stand for the first time in over 4 weeks! How bittersweet! He is too weak to do it on his own, but he was strapped to a table and lifted into the standing position. It was a test to see if his blood pressure could handle the challenge. He passed with flying colors! He has also been great with his t mist therapy and speech therapy, that hell be having a test to see if his diaphragm and muscles all around his lungs are strong enough to breathe without the vent. Pray for passing with flying colors! ! Here are a couple of pictures we want to share with you all. After all, youre on this journey with us, and we love you for it! :)
