Ok, now Im gonna be a complainer. I went to the bank and then drove thru Wendys to get a sandwich for supper. I am ordering a single hamburger and trying to tell the girl that I want light catsup, light mustard and extra mayo but she interrupts me THREE times to ask if I want to make that a value meal. Finally I say yes I do, but I want a baked potato instead of fries (Walt will eat that for breakfast) and a large diet. When we get it all done (and I feel like Ive been insulted over and over by the RUDE woman who kept interrupting me every step of the way!!), she says to me, Thatll be 6.86 at the second window, which agreed with what was on the screen. So I pull forward and she says, Thats 7.33. WHAT???? I tell her what she and the screen both said (I had counted out the correct change based on that amount!) and she argued with me and told me that it didnt matter what was on the screen. THIS is the correct amount. Forget it! - I drove off. So I go across the street to McDonalds. I order the #5 meal which is 5.99 according to their screen. I do expect tax on the drink. No problem. But when I get up there, the total is almost $7.00. I tell her that the screen says this meal is 5.99 and she tells me that that is the price for the sandwich only and since this is a meal it is more. So I pay it. Then I drive back thru and look at the screen to make sure I wasnt nuts. And guess what - the MEAL is 5.99. So they have to refund me the difference. Good grief! No wonder I hate going for fast food.
