Ok, people with food sensitivities-how do they diagnose you? Jackson has been complaining of a stomachache at least 2-3 times per day, often warranting a trip to the school office on school days. Today is the second time that Ive had to pick him up from school in the past two weeks because it has been so bad. He hasnt had a fever and his bowels are moving fine. He has no other symptoms besides a burning hot lava stomachache as he describes it. It hasnt been all of the time, but it happens the most in the mornings and evenings, typically flaring around mealtimes. I was first thinking gastritis, but with his crazy food allergies, I am wondering if he is developing a sensitivity to gluten or dairy? Of course my pediatrician is out of the office today and tomorrow! Wondering if I should go the allergy or gastro route for him? Ugh- so many questions...
