Ok post 1 all right people out there in internet land today was a day the Lord has made arise and be glade in it, and I was and shot out of bed at 6:15 ready to go. Found my glasses and aid slide into my trousers and lumbered into the kitchen downed my pills and trusty Tylenol, Im set. Auther is around but not in force but being a weasel and staying in the background. Have a busy day, have the watch for the exercisers and then my sweet no.1 daughter want to do a trail in the park and we have a potential new member to our walkers club. Heathers mother law Kathy Newsome Clark. I drop off the trash at end of soggy bottom Dr. and I rush off to the said place and park in the recliner with phone in one hand and the dish changer in the other, multitasking I can do. The dear exercisers appear and rush off to do whatever they do to burn calories and stay slim and trim, all I know is it wares me out, just thinking about it. I surf the dish and FB a little and awaited their return. My no. 1 grandson appears and wants oatmeal so I put on my chiefs hat and round up the said feast, with brown sugar. 7:30 like clock work the said pair return and I am relieved to return home. I stop at Mc Doogels and acquire 2 sausage biscuits and return to the house, where sweety has my coffee ready and we retire to the TV viewing area Fox is on and we consume said fare and discuss the doings of the day There is a double Birthday goings on and 11 were attending what I call a hen gathering, shindig and celebration, and my presents are not needed or wanted even close by. I get my marching orders and depart the premises, head for Heathers and the walk. I get there and Kathy arrives and we head out deciding on what trail we would take. Trail 4 and 7 Down to bridge and then around Rose Island and then back up. I tae pictures and post them. As usual I bring up the rear but no one had to drag me back, I made it all on my own power slow but a go. We left Heathers at 9:18 and arrived back at 11:15 not bad for a 68 year old. Huff and puff and stuff. The walk was brisk and the wind was cool there was frost on stuff and on the bridge toward the far end and a pattern was formed as the sun shined through the lattice work of guard rails. There were still leaves on some trees mostly maple and yellow in color. The forest is getting ready for the winter to come and puling its sap down into the ground so as not to freeze and bust itself. There was a 450 John Deer bulldozer just off the pool and it had cleared a path on the left side for easer assess to that side. We arrived back at the top in fine shape and my cardiovascular system was circulating quite well. And no heart attack either. Heather got us back and I took off down to Clarksville to shop for a grill cover to protect my Hybrid from the elements. I then moseyed around and decided on Frischs for lunch, got a Big Boy fries and a coke, felt like the 60s all over again. Lets go cruzing. I FB while I waited, and when said fare arrived it went down well. I was famished. After wards I did som cruzing Clarksville and Jeff. for my instructions were to avoid home stead till after 3:00 and thats what I did. I arrived home and all the hens were still here and it was winding down and my arrival gave it a shove. They soon departed and 2 with loot. I assisted Lana and loaded up her truck. Everyone seemed happy for all were smiling and there was not profanity or blue smoke coming out of the house except the chimney. As everyone left and we were alone I noticed Selene had a shiner on her right eye, as se was mopping the mop handle hit one of our larger granite ware coffee pots and dislodged it from its nail and came down and hit her in the eye. So yall are warned I did not do this she did. Well we got a call the van is done and can pick it up any time that was quick and the ol pocket book was not hurt very much. We get there and pay and return home to a warm house and hearth. And it is that time again, yes jammy time Selene is on the couch and I am in my recliner and it is time to wind down at the end of the day. Going to be cool tonight, 30s they say so cover up put your long johns on and double quilts and 2 dogs and maybe a cat or 2.
